An A&E doctor is planning a 21,000-mile ride to raise money for two charities close to his heart – one of which helped to save his girlfriend's life.
Chris Targett from Cambridgeshire is undertaking the epic solo and unsupported round trip from England to South Africa and Nepal back to England in the hopes of raising £100,000 for local Air Ambulance charity Magpass, which rescued girlfriend Sam following a car accident, and Riders For Health, which helps deliver medical aid to villages in Africa.
